From family-friendly play areas to onsite laundry services, we have all of the amenities that you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

OUR ONSITE AMENITIES

Silver Sands Holiday Park spans 9 acres of beautifully landscaped countryside with stunning views – but we know that good quality facilities are just as important! Here’s what to expect onsite.

Children’s play areas

We have several fun and safe play areas for young visitors of all ages – a sand pit for under 6s, a wooden play area for under 14s (complete with swings, slide, monkey bars and climbing ropes) and a big grassy area for ball games, away from other campers.

BBQ & dining areas

We have picnic tables in our central field, perfect for enjoying an outdoor meal together. And if you’d like to cook up a feast on the barbecue during your stay, you’re welcome to bring your own (as long as it’s set up off the ground to protect the grass).

Campfires

Is there anything more magical than a campfire under the stars? We have small fire vessels that you’re welcome to use, as well as fire wood available for purchase. We just ask that you dispose of ashes properly and make sure the fires are lit off the ground.

Dog-friendly

We welcome well-trained dogs at Silver Sands! You can share your holiday with your four-legged friend in all touring and camping pitches, as well as in some of our caravans (see Accommodation for more info).

The main Kennack sands beach is dog friendly all year round, with excpetion to the 6 weeks main school holidays, however the beach next door can be used in those 6 week school holidays.

Electric bike hire

Feel the wind in your hair and hire a bike to explore the local area on two wheels, without getting out of breath. We have four electric bikes available to hire for aged 14 years and older.

EV charging

For guests with electric vehicles, we have a convenient 7KW electric vehicle charger onsite. You’ll need to download the Charge Assist App to access and pay for the charging. Please note that we don’t allow charging directly from your accommodation or pitch for safety reasons.

Launderette

Our onsite launderette is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, and a large sink for handwashing – so no need to worry about muddy clothes or accidental spills! Forgot your washing powder?, we sell it from reception.

Local bus service

If you’d like to explore the surrounding area without the car, you can take the number 34 bus from the village of Kugger, just ten minutes’ walk away from the park. Take a look at the timetable and routes here.

If you're looking to explore The Lizard and further afeild in Cornwall, we have a local taxi partner who can look after your needs. Bookings are always advisable in advance to secure your spot.
