Booking was simple, communication great and check in and out hassle free. The lodge was very clean, modern, warm and comfortable for our family of 5 with each of the “kids” (16+) having their own double bed. Wifi / 50inch 4kTV & Netflix all provided. Nicely located at the entrance to the well maintained and presented park and just a 15 minute walk to Kennack Sands, so a great base for walks. We found that there was no Deliveroo or Just Eat coverage but the lodge has all home comforts to cook for yourself and supermarkets do deliver. Lovely private deck area to the side which would be great to use in warmer weather. Blocked pave driveway for 2 cars at the front. We stayed during Storm Eunice and did suffer from 2 days without power which was no fault of the park. Kell was great and supplied candles and torches and kept apologising on behalf of Western Power. Combi Washer/Dryer was a godsend when power was restored. It was a great base to explore our favourite places and we will definitely come back when we next visit our Daughter at University…. “Have stayed on Silversands for many years, moving from camping, to caravans with the dogs, so we thought we would try out one of the new lodges for our first winter stay. On arrival we were welcomed by Kell and Nic (owners) the lodge was beautifully presented and clean. There were a total of 9 of us altogether, yet the lodge had ample space for all of us. Great to have the 2 bathrooms (1 being en-suite) and a bonus of a dishwasher, no washing up! The lodge was a lovely, cosy place to go back to after breezy days visiting our favourite beaches.”
“We recently stayed at Silver Sands holiday park in lodge number 2 and can honestly say that it is by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed in.
The welcome was very friendly and we checked in early after a very long drive and our accommodation was ready for us.
The lodge is very spacious and fitted out with quality. Nothing is left out and everything is catered for. I’m not going into details other than to say that you will not be disappointed and your future static caravan type holidays will be different after your stay given the fact that the bar is raised to such a high level.
The site itself is very well presented and looked after by its owners who go out of there way to help and assist with any issues. Our one problem was running out of ice for the g/t ….. sorted for £1.
You’re out of the way which we like and this is not the commercial type park with over priced drinks and cheap (expensive) restaurants. If this is your type of place and you like being away from the masses then it’s a must and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Enjoy.!”
